Mercy auditioned for The Maid in 2004 and quickly became a star.
- 2009
She won the AMAA Best Supporting Actress award for Live to Remember (2009) and the AMVCA Best Actress in a Comedy for Dumebi the Dirty Girl (2013).
- 2011
She married Prince Odianosen Okojie in 2011, and they have four children.
- 2017
From 2017 she served as Senior Special Assistant on entertainment, arts and culture to the Kogi State governor.
- 2020
As a producer, she made The Legend of Inikpi (2020), based on a Kogi legend, and she starred in the box-office hit Battle on Buka Street (2022).
