Child safety standards
askJBoss has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to the askJBoss website (askjboss.com) and the askJBoss apps for Android and iPhone.
What is not allowed
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawings, edited or AI-generated images.
- Sexualising a minor in posts, comments, messages, profiles, photos or videos.
- Grooming: contacting a minor to build trust for sexual purposes, asking a minor for images, or arranging to meet a minor.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or advertising or arranging the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Sharing links to, or asking for, any of the above.
Anyone under 18 is a minor. askJBoss is not for children under 13.
How we prevent it
- Posts are checked by our team before they appear publicly.
- Every post, comment and profile has a Report button with a Child safety option. Content reported for child safety is hidden immediately and reviewed urgently.
- Members can block anyone so they can no longer message them.
- Members under 18 cannot use the wallet, payments, the Marketplace or withdrawals.
How we respond
- We remove the content and permanently ban the account responsible.
- We preserve the evidence needed by investigators.
- We report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and Nigerian law enforcement — the Nigeria Police Force and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
- We cooperate fully with lawful requests from law enforcement.
How to report
- In the app or on the website: tap Report (or ⋯) on the post, comment or profile and choose Child safety.
- By email: support@askjboss.com with the subject “Child safety report”. Include the link to the content or the username. Do not attach or forward abusive images.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 112 (Nigeria) or your local emergency number first.
