Community guidelines
askJBoss works because neighbours trust what they read and who they deal with. Please follow these rules everywhere on askJBoss: posts, comments, chats, the Marketplace, ratings and adverts.
Do
- Post what you know is true, with the right location.
- Be respectful — disagree without insults.
- Credit photos, videos and news you didn’t create. Only upload music you made or have permission to share.
- Describe items for sale honestly and mark them as sold when they’re gone.
- Rate sellers honestly, based on what really happened.
- Report scams, fake jobs, fake items and abuse with the Report button.
Don’t
- Post false news, rumours or edited images meant to mislead.
- Scam, ask for advance payments, or post fake jobs, fake properties, fake items or fake giveaways.
- Sell anything illegal or dangerous (see Marketplace safety).
- Post hate speech or attack people because of tribe, religion, gender or disability.
- Share nudity, sexual content, graphic violence or anything involving the abuse of children.
- Share other people’s phone numbers, addresses or photos without permission.
- Spam, or create fake accounts to like, tip, vote, rate or earn points.
- Leave fake, paid or revenge ratings, or ask people to rate you in exchange for anything.
Breaking these rules can lead to posts being removed, earnings and points being held or removed, and accounts being suspended. In an emergency, call 112.
