Entertainment News “How I was left shocked seeing his wife and mother eating and watching TV after his death” – Toluwanisings’ uncle spills as he clashes with his wife over burial location (Video)By Mercy TrinOctober 27, 2026No Comments3 Mins Read

The uncle of late gospel singer Sadiq Olayemi Bayonle, better known as Toluwanisings, is still speaking out against his wife.

Kemi Filani reported hours ago that one of his uncles, on behalf of the family, released a statement laying out terms for when and where the singer would be buried. He said the family was prepared to cover mortuary costs for as long as the process takes, and the burial must take place at his home where his wife and children reside.

In a video online, his uncle claimed that the day he went to his house after his death, he was shocked to see his wife and her mother eating and watching TV.

Toluwani’s uncle said his wife refused to bury him at the house, and they suggested the family’s house, which she also refused, saying it was far.

“When we got to Toluwani’s house, I was shocked to see his wife and her mother eating and watching TV. I thought there had been an agreement to bury him in his house, but his wife refused. I asked her to allow him to be buried in the family house, but she said it was too far.

Amid the clash with his wife, the family had demanded that no burial proceed until a full investigation is carried out.

Kemi Filani reported that the singer had passed away in the early hours of 14th October, 2026.

His family confirmed the sad news, urging the public to keep his wife, family, and loved ones in prayers during this difficult time.

Following the news of his passing, online reports claimed Toluwanisings collapsed on the stairs of his Ibadan residence following a worship event the previous night. He was rushed to multiple hospitals with the hope of being saved.

The first hospital allegedly turned him away, and so did the second, and by the time they arrived at the third hospital, it was too late, and he was gone.

Confirming it, his personal assistant, Babadunni, recounted how he slumped and rushed to multiple hospitals before meeting his death. The PA said his boss was fine and in perfect condition and believes his death was God’s timing.

Following his demise, Woli Agba, Bidemi Olaoba, Babatunmise, BBO, and others stormed his Ibadan residence for a condolence visit.

Mourning him, Kehinde Adegbodu, who lost his twin earlier this year, noted that Toluwanisings sympathised with them and even prayed for them, unknowingly, that he would join Taiwo in the next few months. Questioning who was next, he prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

Woli Agba said his wife asked where her husband was, and that simple question became hard to answer as he stuttered and stammered. Calling for prayers for his wife, he disclosed her last memory of her husband.

At her son’s birthday party, Wumi Toriola paid her tribute to the late singer.

In July, 2026, the singer had survived a serious road accident with his band, which he described as a miraculous escape.

Toluwanisings hailed from Ikirun, Osun State, and worked as a trained estate surveyor before gaining prominence in gospel music.

His death adds to the list of gospel singers who have lost their lives this year.
