Graduated and waiting for service year? Here is how NYSC registration works, what to prepare, and how to avoid mistakes that delay your call-up letter.

✅ Before you start
- Confirm your name is on your school’s approved Senate list sent to NYSC — ask your school’s Student Affairs office.
- Make sure your NIN details match your school records exactly.
- Have a working email address and phone number you will keep.
- Get a passport photo that meets NYSC’s specifications.
🪜 Registration steps
- Go to the official NYSC portalUse only the official NYSC website and choose mobilisation registration when it opens for your batch.
- Create your accountRegister with your email and phone number, then verify your email.
- Fill your details carefullyEnter your name, date of birth, state of origin and course exactly as in your school records.
- Upload documentsYour passport photo, statement of result or certificate, and a valid ID, as the portal requests.
- Capture your fingerprintsComplete biometric capture as directed — usually at an accredited centre.
- Print your slipPrint and keep your acknowledgement slip.
