Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has come under massive fire over a video he shared online which included his ex-wife, May Edochie.
The light-skinned actor reposted a video someone made of him, along with his brief biography.
The video included his parents, old movies, his new wife, Judy Austin, and their kids, as well as his estranged wife, May Edochie, and their kids.
“I didn’t know I’d been given a new name, Peaceful Troublemaker.
Someone sent this compilation to me; it’s so beautiful, so well crafted”.
The video didn’t sit well with May’s fans, who slammed him for including her.

While speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Yul had hinted that May did something that pushed him into another marriage. He said he doesn’t mind being a villain in the story, and said he wishes his ex-wife well and wants her to prosper. He noted that she is the mother of his children and mentioned that things happened while they were married, but that he is too much of a man to break down on the internet over it.
Elsewhere in the interview, Yul disclosed he doesn’t post his kids with May because there’s a court order. He shut down reports of abandoning them, saying he pays his son’s university bills and spends time with them. He disclosed that at his last court hearing with May, his daughter came with her and they exchanged pleasantries.
On Mother’s Day in March, Yul had shunned May as he celebrated his wife, Judy Austin and his mother.
Recall that Yul fell from grace to grass after his scandal with colleague, Judy Austin which wrecked his marriage to his wife of over a decade, May Edochie.
Their relationship led to Yul’s crashed marriage with his May as she filed for divorce from him, demanding N100 million from Judy, and had also filed a restraining order denying him access to their former matrimonial home, and had gotten full custody of the kids.
Yul and Judy have since started a family of their own and are blessed with three sons, Star Dikeh, Pete Ndubuisi and Universe Yul Edochie.
May’s lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, revealed that Yul doesn’t pay child support or his children’s school fees and that May takes care of their three children. He alleged that the actor told his daughter to meet her mother for her financial needs since she was making more money than he was.
Judy Austin had shed light on how she met her Yul Edochie, claiming that she met Yul years after her first marriage was dissolved in 2013.
