Businessman IVD is rejoicing after his partner, Blessing CEO, was released from detention.
Hours ago, actress Doris Oga confirmed her release by sharing a video call with Blessing.
She revealed that the controversial therapist has been released from detention and expressed gratitude to God.
“Blessing CEO is finally out; thank you, Jesus”.
Also confirming her release, IVD shared a video of his partner on his Tiktok page, noting how she went into the Lion’s den, but the lion didn’t eat her.
“We enter lion’s den but lion no chop us”.
On Monday, October 12th, Prosecution Economicand Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) continued the trial of Blessing CEO. A prosecution witness, PW1, Dr Onuoha Okeigwe, told Justice R. A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, that he paid N69,150,000 for a five-year lease of property allegedly presented to him as the influencer’s property.
Recall that the Lagos Zonal Directorate of the anti-graft agency first arraigned Blessing CEO on 9 June 2026 on two counts bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing.
Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges when they were read to her. However, the defendant told the court that he contacted the influencer who dismissed his concerns.
She was granted N20 million bail in July 2026, with two sureties in like sum, and each surety was required to provide three years’ proof of deposits valued at N20 million. Unfortunately for her, she was unable to meet her bail conditions and was remanded in Kirikiri facility.
Recall that Blessing and IVD first sparked dating rumors in 2023, when Blessing shared a photo of a mystery man with a tattoo of her on his arms. Expressing both fear and excitement, she disclosed that she thought her feelings had died with her in the past. However, he came and swept her off her feet.
During an interview with Daddy Freeze, in January, 2025, Blessing had confirmed her relationship to IVD. She gushed over him and how loving he his and hoped that they get married someday.
In April, the relationship expert announced that she is engaged to the auto dealer. While gushing over her man, the mother of two said this was the first time she would not be craving drama because she wants peace and softness in her new life.
