Afrobeat singer Davido has won the hearts of many with his sweet gesture to the parents of his friend and colleague, Zlatan Ibile.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that Zlatan had traditionally tied the knot with his partner and mother of his two kids, Davita, in a high-profile wedding.
One highlight of the event was the moment Davido met Zlatan’s parents.
In the viral clip, the singer was seen removing his cap as he paid his respects to them.

Last year, Davido won the hearts of many with his humility and respect for Abia State Governor Alex Otti. In a viral clip, the superstar singer was seen leaving a building and entering his car with his crew when he sighted the Governor. Davido got out of the car and paid respect to him as a typical Yoruba man.
The Afrobeat singer had won hearts after fulfilling his promise to the legendary highlife singer, Bright Chimezie. Davido shared a video of him meeting the veteran, as he and his 30BG paid their respects.
Veteran actor and media personality Patrick Doyle sang the singer’s praises, noting how he maintained a calm disposition despite attacks from his colleagues. Commending his behavior, the ex-husband of Ireti Doyle noted how Davido humbly redirected his steps when he was erred and corrected by elders.
Actress, Shan George had given three reasons why she is a die-hard fan of Davido. She made it known that nothing can change her love for the singer as she recounted the two times she met him.
In other news, Davido in a foreign interview, had issued a stern warning to black Americans against relocating to Africa, letting them know that it wasn’t cool in Africa as the economy was in shambles. Davido, however, made it known that he wasn’t badmouthing Africa; rather, he aimed to show off the little parts and leave the slums out of the frame.
His statement didn’t sit well with many like Reno Omokri, Patrick Doyle, Akashat Nymat, and others who criticized him for it.
