Despite being one of the country’s top singers, Zlatan Ibile is clearly the shy type, as his wife said.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that the lovebirds who announced they were getting married this month officially wed at a star-studded traditional wedding.
In a video from the event, the singer was captured covering his and his wife’s faces as they share a kiss.
Opening up about their love story to Bella Naija, his wife disclosed that they met in London through a mutual friend, and the rest became history.
In a message to her husband, she told him that they should keep making God first.
A day back, the couple held their bachelor and bridal party, where Zlatan gifted his wife a diamond necklace, a Birkin bag, Christian Louboutin heels, and a wristwatch.
In a recent interview, Davita revealed something new about her husband, saying he is shy. She said he couldn’t approach her to get her phone number and had to send someone.
Zlatan described his bride as perfect, saying God knew he didn’t have the strength and sent her to him.
In January, a viral post was shared online about him clarifying his relationship status with the mother of his kids, Davita Lamai. In the post, the singer had Zlatan stated that Davita isn’t his wife but the mother of his kids.
Hopping on his social media page to react to the viral post, the singer expressed frustration with Nigerians who share unverified posts without confirming their authenticity. He noted that he isn’t one to explain himself on social media; however, he is making it clear that the post was fake.
The singer had proved to be a doting partner, as he supported Davita as she graduated from Birmingham University. The singer was captured in viral videos, cheering her on at her graduation ceremony.
